APKC is one of the oldest Kennel Clubs in India and celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 1997-1998. Founded in 1948 by the late Mr. Jainarain Misra, the Andhra Pradesh Kennel Club (APKC) formerly known as the Hyderabad Kennel Club was affiliated to the Kennel Club of India (KCI) in 1949.
